Title:
Magician Fish from McElligot's Pool

Materials:
glass, acrylic, papier mache on fiberglass

Artist's comments:
My Magician Fish from McElligot's Pool was inspired by the little boy's fantasy fish in the book McElligot's Pool by Dr. Seuss. As a young boy myself, I was drawn to, and awed by, the daydreamy, hopeful imagination of the young boy fishing as he fantasized about all the wonderful, elaborate, and different kinds of fish that he could possibly catch in McElligot's Pool.
